Wheelwash has been lucky enough to have had a relationship with Saint Gobain for many years. They create great places to live and improve daily lives by designing, manufacturing and suppling construction solutions, making their site an ideal location for a wash system. The aim of the recent install was to replace their existing unit which was beyond economical repair.
The previous wheel washing system that had been installed many years ago had been inset into the ground with a 9m base. Once the old system was removed it left a large hole in the ground, which a standard system would not fit into. Wheelwash has the expertise to manufacture non-standard systems which will fit particularly challenging situations. Consequently, this bespoke system was then drawn up and built for the site. The existing tanks and pumps were to remain as they were, so Wheelwash provided the necessary adjustments to fit this requirement. As part of the project, Saint Gobain required that the system could be installed over weekends to minimise disruption to their operations.
The correct guidance was given by Wheelwash engineers to ensure that a realistic deadline was set so that the system could be fully installed and working successfully. Much to the client’s satisfaction, the project was installed on time and to the highest of standards.
