Providing Wheel Washing Solutions for North Macedonia’s New Motorway Project
Problem:
The government of North Macedonia is embarking on a major infrastructure project—the construction of a new motorway that will connect the Adriatic Sea to the Black Sea, passing through Albania, North Macedonia, and Bulgaria. This development is crucial for the country’s modernisation and will serve as an essential regional transport link. However, environmental regulations required the construction company to implement a reliable wheel washing system for vehicles leaving the site, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
Solution:
The company awarded the construction works reached out to us after their positive experience with our proposal and installation for the motorway project in Serbia. They required a dependable wheel washing solution for the dump trucks used on the site, with variable frequency to accommodate the project’s demands. In response, we proposed the 4m Ecowash Excel, a robust and efficient solution. Our proposal was accepted, and the unit was manufactured at our Winsford, Cheshire factory.
Outcome:
The Ecowash Excel was delivered on a Euroliner curtain-side truck, ready for subsequent installation at the North Macedonia site.
