Wheelwash recently supplied and installed a brand new 12m Ecowash Extreme to a large construction project in the South West.
The system was a bespoke build to take large site dump trucks, as well as standard road going traffic. The newly manufactured wheel wash system includes galvanized entry and exit ramps, galvanised removable internal grids in the wash platform, galvanised side screens and pipework. The large traffic numbers through the 12m long wheel wash platform provides 4 revolutions of the vehicles wheels as it drives over the platform. The Ecowash Extreme recycles approximately 46,500 litres of water, making it a very effective solution.
The client had a strict budget to adhere therefore our specialist team recommended this system that is inverter driven, therefore provides additional operational cost savings. The site has complete control of the wash pressure depending on weather and site conditions. Entry and exit sensors ensure efficient water use during each wash activation, which gives the site manager total control over water costs.
