Silvertown Tunnel is a 1.4km twin-bore road tunnel constructed under the Thames. It is the first new tunnel to be built in London in over 30 years. In 2019, Transport for London awarded RiverLinx SPV the contract to design, build, finance, and maintain the Silvertown Tunnel, and Wheelwash was appointed todesign and build a wheel wash solution to prevent mud and dirt from the construction site from reaching busy London footpaths and roads.
